Here are presented sample maps from two issues of the Atlas of the Languages of the World: 
Romance set (1) and Atlas of Caucasian languages (2).

1. Map of Istria peninsula and southern part of Friuli Venezia Giulia region (Italy). This map focuses on Romance languages of Istria (Slovenia/Croatia) - Istro-Romanian and Istriot; southern partof Friulian area and so called "colonial" dialects of Venetan.

2. Map "Dagestanian languages: South" including Lezgic languages & southern outliers of Lak & Dargwic.
